A little more than kin, and less than kind.
Family doesn’t always refer to people you love. Family can simply refer to those you say you love because it seems necessary. Raise your hand if you would have easily met, gotten along with, and loved the people you call FAMILY, if they weren’t blood? Yeah, not many. Kin only gets you so far.
It’s funny how people who are NOT related to you, can be so much closer and mean so much more.
Family isn’t based on blood, it’s based on circumstance.

Friends, family, lovers. What’s the difference? After all, the friend and the lover can care more, love more, feel more for you than even your closest kin. Why push that away?
