suffocate
No air, no room, the walls are closing around you. You couldn’t open your mouth in protest, so you sat there, fake smile and warm words. Surrounded. By promises you’ve made, by lies you’ve told, by no longer being able to tell the difference. You’ve dug, and kept digging. And the dirt fell down, encasing you and your words again.
You’ve Suffocated Yourself, and now there’s no way out.
Michaela Says,
No amount of false pretenses can save you now. You’re surrounding yourself with fake people, you’re family is full of fake people, your world is full of fake people. No feelings, plastic. Anything with a beating heart you’ve shattered. And you feel no better, you’re still suffocating.
And all you had to do, was speak. But I forgot, you don’t know how to speak for yourself, do you?
