It’s no surprise to know that girls have more of a knack for drama than boys. I believe it all starts with genetics. Girls run around from birth flirting with the doctor, while boys strongly believe girls have cooties until at least age 15. Why? Men and woman don’t come from different planets, as much as it seems possible. What really happened was girls learned at a young age that manipulation got them what they wanted, while boys learned they could just fight for it.

Especially in their teens, girls find their power status based on false friendships and clothes that are too expensive. Fake smiles and lies that sound entirely too much like the truth. And it gets worse. They won’t stop. The manipulative little girls grow up into young women. They become power hungry and are willing to ruin whoever gets in their way, whatever it takes.

So while I’m constantly stuck in that Realm of of the Drama Obsessed, (aka high school,) how do I survive?

I won’t act like I’m perfectly innocent when it comes to gossip and the un-quenched thirst for knowledge of other people’s lives. But when does it go to far? When do people get so bored with their own lives that they become wrapped and tangled up in others? When does it go from an innocent boredom to a not so innocent destruction?

Take a deep breath, bite your tongue, and think about what you’re about to say. 1…2…3…4 Is it worth it? No? Then don’t say it. Yes? Then go ahead and yell it at the top of your lungs. Just be prepared for the consequences. They will come. Because word gets around like wild fire, and trust me, it all gets lost in translation.

Drama is for the lowly and the bored. Stay out of it. Any way you can. Because in about 1-4 years from now, you may never see these faces again. Say nothing to the Drama Cronies, and nothing will drive them crazier than seeing you have a good fucking life and not giving a fuck about what they think. :)
